Props and there connection to continuity

Here are some images taken by Louise on the props used over a few of the consecutive filming sessions. I am posting about them because the information will possibly be valuable when we come to evaluating the final product. They also to an extent help me to access of they is a fluid sense of continuity in the opening title sequence in terms of seeing if the items did flow and if they didn’t flow I could see why there was not that transition that would of made it flow and rectify it.

First of all there is the briefcase scene which incorporated the coins as well as the briefcase and this was use to emulate that the coins was falling out which had a sense of continuity in the sense that when they fall they move into the next transition of something falling. The filming at the scene worked rather well because it showed that the coins fell well and the effect of using my hand to slowly drop the coins was a success as they went to the ground without making a make-do piece of paper let the coins fall.
The second scene was the bird pooling scene which we used whipped cream in a squirt can. It worked rather well in representing the thematic of a bird pooling on you which is luck and also worked well because from the distance shot and the colour of the cream you could tell that it was bird poo.
